Hideyuki Ebihara

Spent approximately 12 years at CyberAgent Ventures (now CyberAgent Capital). During this time, engaged in secondments to portfolio companies as well as investment and management support for domestic startups in Japan. Led the launch of the firm’s investment operations in Korea and was stationed in Seoul for about four years as Head of the Korea office.

After becoming independent, provided management support to multiple companies before joining this fund. Focused on creating hybrid companies and businesses that integrate strengths from both Japan and overseas markets, leveraging experience in Japan and abroad.

Shunsuke Itadani

After serving as China representative for Dream Incubator (DI), he went independent in 2018 in order to make a long-term commitment to China. His mission is to be one of the “envoys to Tang China in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” and to accurately convey China’s cutting-edge trends to Japanese strategic/policy decision makers. He has lived in Shanghai since 2011 (has visited all provinces in China). CEO of DANNY Pro.. Distinguished Lecturer of Peking University and Adjunct Professor of Shanghai International Studies University. Graduated from the University of Tokyo and completed a degree in Frontier Informatics at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the same university.

Tengqi Hu

After graduating from the Department of Finance at Zhejiang University, he studied abroad in the United States before joining Dream Incubator (DI Shanghai). As the only Chinese project manager, he provides strategic consulting to large Japanese companies and conducts venture incubation for Chinese startups, focusing on smart manufacturing, internet, mobile content, and consumer goods industries. He is Executive Director of DANNY Pro.. He joined PKSHA Algorithm Fund in 2019.

Maowen Cheng

Following the completion of his Masters in International Relations at Waseda University, he joined Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., working with corporate clients. And then spent 6 years in practice in both Local and Japanese consulting firm (CDI), providing research and consulting to Japanese and Chinese companies and government agencies across a wide range of sectors. He has also held strategic planning roles in manufacturing (Misumi China) and at a Chinese AI unicorn (DeepBlue).He serves as a Director at DANNY Pro.. He has been involved with PKSHA Algorithm Fund in 2022.

Sanghyun Han

After working as an analyst at Mizuho Securities, head of the Korean startup sales team, and senior consultant at Nomura Research Institute, he joined PKSHA Algorithm Fund as the Korea/Japan representative. He is currently making cross-border investments between Japan and Korea, making the most of his 10 years of experience living in Japan and his experience in securities, startups, and strategy consulting. He graduated from the Faculty of Education at Waseda University.

Mitsuya Yoshimura

While still a university student, he engaged in engineering and web marketing at several IT startups, and also worked at CyberAgent Ventures (now CyberAgent Capital), where he was involved in sourcing and incubation operations. He later founded Nicola Inc., launching multiple businesses. Since 2024, he has been serving as a Venture Partner at the PKSHA Algorithm Fund. He is a graduate of International Christian University (ICU).

Kangsoo Kim

After working at Citigroup Securities Co., Ltd., he joined Matsuo Institute Co., Ltd. He is responsible for planning, PoC, and development of machine learning social implementation projects. He became a director in 2022. He holds multiple positions including Director of Matsuo Institute Co., Ltd., Director of Corporate Strategy Department, President and CEO of MK Capital Co., Ltd., Executive Officer of PLUGA AI Asset Management Co., Ltd., and Special Research Fellow of the Financial Services Agency. He graduated from the University of Tokyo and the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo.
