    After serving as China representative for Dream Incubator (DI), he went independent in 2018 in order to make a long-term commitment to China. His mission is to be one of the “envoys to Tang China in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” and to accurately convey China’s cutting-edge trends to Japanese strategic/policy decision makers. He has lived in Shanghai since 2011 (has visited all provinces in China). CEO of DANNY Pro.. Distinguished Lecturer of Peking University and Adjunct Professor of Shanghai International Studies University. Graduated from the University of Tokyo and completed a degree in Frontier Informatics at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the same university.

    After graduating from the Department of Finance at Zhejiang University, he studied abroad in the United States before joining Dream Incubator (DI Shanghai). As the only Chinese project manager, he provides strategic consulting to large Japanese companies and conducts venture incubation for Chinese startups, focusing on smart manufacturing, internet, mobile content, and consumer goods industries. He is Executive Director of DANNY Pro.. He joined PKSHA Algorithm Fund in 2019.

  • Maowen Cheng

    Following the completion of his Masters in International Relations at Waseda University, he joined Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., working with corporate clients. And then spent 6 years in practice in both Local and Japanese consulting firm (CDI), providing research and consulting to Japanese and Chinese companies and government agencies across a wide range of sectors. He has also held strategic planning roles in manufacturing (Misumi China) and at a Chinese AI unicorn (DeepBlue).He serves as a Director at DANNY Pro.. He has been involved with PKSHA Algorithm Fund in 2022.
